Description
r (OP) 98 days. This is a Native American Heirloom variety kept alive for years by the Mandan Indians in North Dakota. It is a beautiful, multi-colored flour corn that has an excellent flavor for fresh ground cornmeal for use in cornbread, homemade tortillas, and added to pancake batters. Each plant produces several long ears with a wonderful array of colors. This is the shortest season flour corn we have found. We are trying to keep it alive, as it is becoming an endangered variety.
