- Cooking Instructions:Use the “shock” method to cook Soba:Boil 3 quarts of water.Do not add salt.Add 1/2 pound of pasta and stir.Upon boiling, add 1 cup water.Return to a boil again, then add another cup of cold water.Repeat once more then rinse, drain and add sauce or toss with sesame oil and mirin.
