r Our quinoa is cultivated and organically grown in Peru and Bolivia. The seeds span the spectrum of color ranging from red, orange, green, brown and black. Nutritionally there is little difference between our varieties. Gluten Free
r Ingredients: Organic Whole Grain Quinoa
r Directions for use:
- r Place seeds in a fine mesh colander
- r Rinse the seeds to remove any protective coating “saponins” under running cold water
- r In saucepan, add one part quinoa to two parts liquid (water or stock)
- r Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for approx. 12 minutes
- r Remove from heat and allow to sit for 4 to 7 minutes to achieve desired texture.
