Cautions and warnings:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney problems, or take other vitamin D supplements (including multivitamins or similar products) or prescription medications (especially antacids, anticonvulsants, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins, or thiazide diuretics), please consult your doctor before using this product. They can also help you determine if you need extra vitamin D. Most people get enough vitamin D with a daily dose of 15–20 mcg (600–800 IU).
Contraindications:
Do not use this product if you have hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria.
Directions:
Adults: Take one capsule daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. This supplement should be taken with an adequate intake of calcium.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
